This evolution fosters greater curriculum innovation, creativity, and flexibility—inspiring continual optimization of student educational outcomes as the market dynamics of a given discipline evolve. Students across each School will continue to receive our liberal arts core curriculum, the unifying and mission-aligning heart of learning at Assumption. University status reflects the evolution and growth of Assumption, with expanded graduate and continuing education degree programs, the addition of our campus in Rome, Italy, and the significant broadening of our academic catalog. Recently launched undergraduate programs include cybersecurity, neuroscience, and nursing.

Assumption, dedicated to the development of the whole person, educates young women in a Catholic community where faith guides, compassion inspires, excellence empowers, and integrity matters. I want to build and improve healthcare systems in developing countries, so I was able to complete my internship in my home country, Ghana, where l left six years ago. Assumption’s cybersecurity program has given me the skills and knowledge necessary for success. Hands-on experiences and real-world learning allowed me to simulate the future work I want to do.

A nurse educated at Assumption promotes human agency, advocates for those who cannot do so for themselves, and develops the clinical judgment necessary to work in today’s dynamic healthcare system. Assumption’s cybersecurity program has definitely prepared me for success and helped me grow in my career path. I’ve learned so much from my professors and received a lot of support along the way. It’s an honor to be one of the first to graduate from the program.

I wanted to learn what it would be like to work in journalism, a field I’m very passionate about, and Assumption afforded me this opportunity.
